Long After Midnight

Apparently, my brain is determined to keep me awake until 3 AM.

Spent the last couple of nights working on a logo design for the new site — not a redesign of this one (although God knows it could use it), but a new site. The new site. Something new.

Pretty happy with the direction things are heading in, although I really have bitten off more than I can chew (and other cliches) in trying this. My skillset is nowhere near what it needs to be to build a database-driven website. Not even close. Hell, half the time I can barely get Blogger to function properly.

But the vision is clear. I know what it needs to be. I can see it. I know what I want it to be. And if I have to grind my way through Jack’s world over the next few months in order to bring this thing to life . . . well, I’m prepared to do it.
