NYT | Spaulding Gray is Missing

I’m inclined to believe this is not a joke or a publicity stunt. But either way, it’s bad news.

The article ends with a particularly haunting image, somewhat surprising for the New York Times to be so ominous and poetic: In North Haven, a young boy in pajamas was seen lighting candles in three windows of Mr. Gray’s two-story, paneled wood house last night.
