There’s been a lot of water over the past week or so. A lot of water.
Went into work on Monday morning to find that there was water coming through the ceiling onto Bryan’s desk.
It was raining. A lot. This week.
And last week, come to think of it.
And then there was the odd set of circumstances surrounding the water cooler at work.
Makes you start to wonder.
Tired now.
And then, as if on cue, the ceiling in the new house started leaking — bad pipe somewhere, I suspect.
Did I mention that my car has been broken into twice since I moved? And this is a better neighborhood — but there it was, the front seat filled with glass as though to say “Welcome to the neighborhood . . . now fuck off.”
Glass is, oddly enough, a liquid. Bet you didn’t know that.
Silicone is sand. They make glass from sand. And computer chips.
And, apparently, Adam.
(deep breath)
I didn’t get very much writing done tonight, before the day caught up with me.
(Same as last night, unfortunately. Nothing worth mentioning.Just trying to swim upstream . . . but the current was stronger than expected.)
(Tired . . . bedtime . . . nothing worth anything mentioning, sleep now….)
