Omnia mutantur, nos et mutamur in illis
“All things change, and we change with them.”Please note that this blog spans a broad period of time. The intervening years have brought many things into my life, including divorce and remarriage. As such, some older posts reference a relationship which is no longer active. In context, however, the portrayal is accurate.
For many reasons, I have chosen to let entries such as this one remain in the overall continuity of the site.
Sandberg left this morning for four fun-filled days of theatre in Ohio.
The kids are off school for the day and the babysitter never showed. So, rather than be a productive member of society (or, at least, a productive member of Fusionary) I sit it out at home, trying to get something intelligent done while my kids and various kids from the neighborhood wander through the house and ask me why they can’t play Gameboy, eat candy, watch television, play with matches, download porn, etc.
With all the interruptions, I give up on work and start cleaning house — listening to Wilco and thinking about . . . well, thinking about dreams. For once, it’s work-related. Almost.
On a related note, I spent a good portion of last night running through the back alleys of a city of wolves. One of those dreams where you say, while it’s going on “Mm, this is interesting. I’ll have to remember this when I wake up…”
Back to cleaning house. If you want to view my unimpeachable technique, feel free.
